Where Do the Holidays Go

As I sit on the couch,

eating a mint chocolate chip Klondike bar at not even 3:30pm,

 watching another one of my favorite movies- Burlesque,

when I've now decided to do my first link up.

No, I am not sick.

I just get flex time when I work Saturday.

Which means I only worked until 1pm today,

jealous, huh?

Today, I'm linking up with Nikki from From a Miss to a Mrs.

I'm going to be short and sweet with this real talk.

Today while serving my four hours at work,

a customer started talking about Christmas shopping and how they were almost done.

My jaw dropped and my eyes popped out of my head.

I haven't even started holiday shopping yet!

I haven't even started thinking about holiday shopping.

Why has there been Christmas decor up since the middle of October!?

I just don't understand.

Why don't we, as Americans, enjoy every holiday as they come?

Not just rushing through to each one.

Take a moment to enjoy the little things.

Holiday decor in October means: 

Halloween, Election day, Veterans day, and Thanksgiving havent' happened.

Personally I love everything about every holiday, 

especially those recognized by the government cause I normally get the days off.

And I think Nordstrom says it the best:

Happy Election Day!!

I'm sure you all went out and voted.
