Shenanigans & A Sexy Linkup ;)

Well hello there little pretties. It's a fabulous Monday here in CT- the noise of construction outside my window, slightly overcast, and no sign of work or school all day.

So how was everybody's weekend?? Mine... was great :)
Friday- was a snow day from school, but I worked at night.  It was a fun night at work, those are always the best.
Saturday- I had school in the morning, where I got to blow dry and finish a style on my sister. Then brought our faves Karla and Scott to our favorite bar/restaurant...  the one where I work actually.
Sunday- Dan went up to his brothers. I went to my parents and then up to our family friends house for one of my other faves 21st birthday celebrations.

I really would like to switch roles for a day,

just to see how it feels to do certain things.

Like have sex/a boner,

pee standing up cause I hate peeing,

lift things without a hassel,

not worry about showering...

But I'd much rather stay a girl :)

I like lemonade.

I am actually writing this post on behalf of  one of my bestest best friends. We are extremely similar and a lot alike in all aspects of our lives. We've married our soulmates, love girly things like getting our hair done, nails, clothes, makeup... the list could go on forever. We love wine. We are extremely optomistic and positive. We strive to be the best we can, both in and out of our marriage. You get the point.
Anywho... This past Sunday she texted me a very disturbing story about some things going on with her in-laws. Now I'm not naming any names, but this hurt me that her family would be talking about her like this, that I felt obligated to talk about it.
Synopsis: Her gram in law reads her blog every day. Which at first I thought was great and really cool. Untillll.... her grams felt disrespected on the blog and printed out posts where my friend mentions 'inlaws family.' Her gram confronted my friends husband  her gram is their landlord and lives right next door when he went to bring over the rent check while my friend was still at home next door. My friend didn't know what her hubs was doing after about an hour cause all he was doing was bringing over the money. Naturally, she got worried. What if something happened to the grandma or her hubs? My friend called her hub a couple times to see if all was ok. After he got home, she received an email from gram which in a nut shell said: that her grandson deserves better than my friend, and how dare she call him when he's with her... amongst other extremely rude accusations. My friend knew since her gram reads her blog every day, that she'd have to write something positive showing she wasn't affected for today. And she did just that. And I couldn't be any more proud to call her my friend.
I can't believe that anybody, let alone family and friends, could be so rude and horrible towards somebody over their thoughts! This is her blog.  Her little piece of the webz where she could be herself. Not anybody elses. Any guy would be lucky and privelaged to have her as their wife. And I know her hubs feels that way as well. I read her blog every day and cannot for the life of me, remember a post where she disrespects his family. She is just not that person! She's overly positive and happy, and would never purposefully write something disrespectful or even slightly hurtful for that matter.
So ladies and gents  if there are any of you out there reading this the moral of this story is: When life gives you lemons- make as much lemonade as you can!! There are going to be horrible, rude, mean, over dramatic, selfish, and drama causing people out there that just want to bring you down to their nasty level. Don't do it!  Be yourself!! Don't be somebody you aren't because somebody has wrongly judged you.
And to my friend: Don't you DARE change one bit. You are perfect just the way you are :) LOVE YOU <3

Let's talk about it...

All right ladies. It's time to talk about my favorite topic.

How many of you are already uncomfortable? Embarrassed? Well, try to push that all aside. I promise this is not the birds and the bees. I'll make it fun... promise! that's what she said ;)
I'm one of the few people in this world that has absolutely no problem talking about sex or anything related to it. It's fun and natural and feels great too!

 I am very open with talking about sex. As most people say: Nicole has a dirty mind or Your mind is always in the gutter. Well that is true, but not always. A lot of people are scared of the word or to even mention it. But why?? There's nothing wrong with sex. A lot of people actually want to talk about it, but are nervous of what people might say. Don't be!! So I'm taking some time and space on my little  space of the interwebz to be open and honest about SEX!
Sir Dan and I take trips to our local VIP store  very intimate pleasures and have a great time there. Sir Dan normally hits me with a dick and I whip him into shape! Haha

One of the biggest stereotypes about newlyweds and being married in general is: No more sex! After the honeymoon, sex doesn't exist.

I'm here to tell you, that is just simply not true. Not even a little bit. I mean maybe for some people, but definitely NOT for Sir Dan and I. We lead a very, veerrryy active sex life. And unfortunately, we know a lot of couples who are bored with it. Whether it be because they are with their partner for a long time, they don't like it, or they just aren't into it. And it makes me sad. One of the main reasons people cheat is because they aren't getting some at home!

We keep things interesting and aren't afraid to try something new. From what I've gathered about those stereotypical sexless married and even unmarried couples say, this is where they are lacking. Just like trying a new food: if you don't like it, ya spit it out and move on. Haha!!

Sir Dan and I made a pact when we were dating, never stop having sex. And to this day, we've kept our pact. If you ask my sister who is one of those who thinks sex is eh Dan and I don't stop. Hahaha!

As we put it: we are just practicing making babies.

Weekend-ish Happenings

Howdy Ho fellow blog buds. It's Monday, the last day of my weekend! Weekends are just flying by... so is school! I already am at 125 hours in just 3 weeks. I'll be on the floor taking clients in no time.
Lets start off by sharing my new do with you all

Remember how I told you that I have bangs but never wear them down cause I look terrible with them? Well... beauty school has its perks! I finally got my bangs to work, and am super super blond!! I am beyond in love with my hair and according to everybody I know, they are too :)
So what's a girl to do with a new do on the weekend? Obviously hit up our favorite local bar to start it off right!

Saturday after school we celebrated Dans step moms  50th birthday with a surprise party

Sunday was spent visiting both of our families and relaxing.

And today is spent relaxing and visiting the hubs at work. I am also in desperate need of shirts for school, so maybe doing that as well :)
